Opening Day of Baseball 

Westmont baseball, last year’s winners of the NAIA World Series, are set to make the first pitch of the NCAA Division II season on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 2 pm. The Warriors will play Regis (Colo.) in four games over the weekend. Members of last year’s national champions will receive their World Series rings at a special ceremony Saturday, Feb. 3, at 10:30 am. 

The team returns standout pitchers Bryan Peck, Chase Goddard, Lucien Wechsberg, and sluggers Bryce McFeely, Michael Soper, and Shane Hofstadler.
