Mt. Carmel Contest Winners

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School art specialist Jennifer Buur tells us that the Montecito Beautification Day poster winners – seventh-graders Camryn Siegel and Riley Green, along with fifth-grader Lauren Doyle, Mt. Carmel School students all – finished in a three-way tie for first place. Additionally, seventh-graders Sophia Fernandes and Grace Trautwein won a separate Sierra Club poster contest.

Looks to us that Mt. Carmel’s art class and Ms Buur in particular have much to crow about. The wins illustrate not only the high artistic achievement of teacher and students, but also the quality of Mt. Carmel’s art program in general. Congratulations, ladies!
