Montecito at the Movies

The 27th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival is upon us. Once again, Oscar nominees are featured (21 so far), and, as usual, Montecito’s role looms large. From Oscar nominee Christopher Plummer’s role in Montecito-based Mike Mills’ Beginners, to Westmont’s Nick Tolkien whose Masquerade features Montecito-bred David Brainard, to Beverlye Fead’s exposition of living with cancer, and many, many, many other contributions and contributors, we are a force.
