Saint Joseph’s annual festival
Celebrating its 50th year, Saint Joseph’s Church holds a festival offering Mexican dishes, live entertainment, drawings with cash prizes, and rides for both toddlers and adults. A free trolley offered as transportation from the Carpinteria train station to the festival’s entrance.

Montecito Association Meeting
The Association meets for its monthly board meeting on the second Tuesday of the month. Changes are in store for the San Ysidro Pharmacy property located on the northwest corner of East Valley Road and San Ysidro Road, in the Upper Village. Property owner Richard Gunner has been working with local architect Don Nulty to create a plan for the property. Preliminary plans include retention of most of the existing structures and the addition of 5,000 square feet of retail/office space. Interested members of the public are invited to attend.
