Café Buenos Aires

Café Buenos Aires features Argentine cuisine. Mom’s lunch and/or dinner includes a complimentary mimosa or dessert.

Sample Menu Items: Venado del Sur, oven-baked pork loin filled with spinach, sundried tomatoes, garlic and goat cheese, polenta cake, asparagus and smoked tomato sauce. Pescado Monje, medallions of monkfish served on a barley-quinoa and acorn squash herb salad, with sliced tear drop tomatoes, roasted fennel and saffron cream sauce.

Special Mother’s Day menu buffet: butternut squash bisque, cold seafood display, salad bar, omelet station prepared to order by chef, salad bar (mixed field greens, iceberg wedge topped with roasted vegetables, antipasto salad). Bella Vista Restaurant at Four Seasons Biltmore

Annual Mother’s Day brunch. Special brunch buffet menu created by executive chef Martin Frost. Guests choose from assortment of seafood and caviar, salads and cheeses, Asian specialties, made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, crepes and pastries, aromatic herb-crusted roasted rack of lamb, slow-roasted prime rib of beef with au jus and horseradish cream, plank-roasted sea bass with Ojai honey soy glaze, glazed smoked ham and mushroom raviolinis with toasted sunflower seeds, peas and cherry tomatoes. Desserts will also be offered, including a chocolate fountain with strawberries, dried fruits, marshmallows and coconut rocher for dipping.

A special Mother’s Day brunch menu with a Latin twist. Some special items offered are: fresh raspberry pancakes, with honey-maple syrup and grilled ham or sausages. Cava French toast, with sautéed bananas, honey-maple syrup and smoke bacon. Eggs benedict ole, grilled ham, poached eggs, manchego cheese and chile hollandaise on crisp English muffins). Huevos Rancheros, with corn tortillas, queso fresco, black beans, guacamole and roasted tomato salsa and much more.

Executive Chef John Trotta invites guests to a prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch at the San Ysidro Ranch. Starters: phyllo-wrapped baked brie, house-cured Scottish salmon, chilled cucumber melon soup, spring greens. Entrées: poached eggs on English muffins, Macadamia nut crusted brioche French toast, grilled filet of beef, tomato and herb-crusted halibut, Portobello mushroom ravioli. Dessert: chocolate terrine with hazelnut brittle, strawberry rhubarb crisp with crème fraiche sorbet, coconut cake with lemon sorbet.

Veranda at Bacara Resort

Eggs benedict, applewood-smoked bacon, Yukon gold hash brown potatoes, freshly sliced fruit with raspberries, blueberries and strawberries, Belgium waffles, made-to-order omelets. Whole poached salmon with sliced smoked salmon, grilled asparagus with Parma ham and tomato confit, grilled marinated artichokes with lemon and roasted garlic aioli, ahi, nigiri and sashimi, shrimp, oysters on the half shell, crab legs, calamari salad, marinated mussel salad, seafood ceviche. Rosemary and garlic-crusted prime rib, salmon en croute with lobster tarragon sauce, Parma ham wrap with sea bass, crispy potato gnocchi, morel mushrooms and asparagus tips, breast of chicken with tarragon, pan-seared pork tenderloin.
