Coast Village restaurant Tsunami, one of Montecito’s few hubs for live music, hosts evening of moxie-sing jazz and standards from Great American Songbook.

Live at Peabody’s
Starting March 25, Peabody’s will have live music every Sunday featuring The Legrand Trio. Trio plays and sings to American jazz and popular music from the 1920s and ’30s.

Bob Long Live

Village Frame & Gallery
Village Frame & Gallery is featuring works by Jeremy Harper, Montecito Union School alumnus and Santa Barbara resident. Plein air oil paintings of local beachscapes, including Hammonds and Butterfly beaches. A lot of his work will also be on display until the end of the month at the Faulkner Gallery in the Santa Barbara Library.

Divine Inspiration Gallery of Fine Art

Freedom Center’s SB Retreat
Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, race car legend Andy Granatelli, former CIA director James Woolsey, radio show host Dennis Prager, Congressman Duncan Hunter and political commentator Dick Morris are just some of the guest speakers at this year’s David Horowitz Freedom Center Santa Barbara Retreat. Among the issues to be discussed at the conference are “The War at Home and Abroad” and “Political Indoctrination in our Public Schools and Universities.”

Seaside Theatre Presents…
“Dogsbreath Devereaux: The Dastardly Doctor or Nurses! Foiled Again!,” a local production by Billy St. John. This Carpinteria melodrama tells the tale of Dogsbreath Devereaux M.D., who plots to do away with a wealthy widow, Lotta Cash, and inherit her late husband’s clinic. Seaside Theatre is a non-profit theatre group.

Montecito Union School hosts performance of Disney’s “High School Musical” by the after-school drama class. Musical’s opening and closing numbers include routines by both the Spirit Squad and Baton Twirling classes and also a performance by the after-school Hip Hop dance class.

Evening of Jazz at Tsunami
Cool jazz and sultry vocals fill Tsunami in evening of torch songs and classic jazz, complete with patio dining. Margie Nelson and Mindy Mass provide vocals, joined by Woody de Marco on keyboard and Hank Allen on bass.

Comedy for a Cause
Westmont College senior Carlo Moss presents “The Underground for Africa,” stand-up comedy concert to benefit West African nation of Sierra Leone. Event features Alphonso Ochoa and Andrey Belikov, UCSB’s improv troupe “Sketch ‘n’ Sniff Comedy” and headlined by Carlo Moss.

Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel hosts unique dining experience at newly renovated Bella Vista Restaurant, in which Chef Roberto Neri of Pordenone, Italy prepares four-course meal of Northern Italian cuisine. Each course is paired with a wine of the Piemonte region. One evening only.
