Christmas Festival
“My Soul Magnifies the Lord,” Westmont College’s second annual Christmas Festival, is a celebration of music, dance and theater. Festival features Westmont Orchestra, several ensembles, five choirs, Westmont Windancers and oral interpretation by theater majors. Festival is held today and tomorrow. Friday’s ceremony features special guest, Choir of Marymount of Santa Barbara, and Saturday’s ceremony features organist Nelson Huber, who is music director at First Presbyterian Church. Join Westmont and First Presbyterian in a festival Professor Michael Shasberger describes as a “hearty dose of familiar, and then some things that will enlighten and excite in ways that you didn’t expect.” Though tickets for both ceremonies are free, spaces are very limited.
