Westmont Reynolds Gallery
Now through December 15, Westmont College displays custom-made teapots, cups and other unique ceramic works from 18 national and international artists. Local artist Christopher Rupp has spent eight months organizing and compiling this collection.

Channel City Club hosts Alessandra G. Ranghiasci, a countess from one of Central Italy’s oldest families, to discuss challenges of keeping ancient traditions alive in modern Italy. Montecito Union School Chorus will also be there to perform

Westmont ‘Car Plays’
Westmont College pushes theatrical boundaries with “Car Play,” series of plays that take place in different vehicles. Forty Westmont students perform 16 original plays consecutively inside 16 parked vehicles. Each play is less than 12 minutes and entire show will only last two hours.

One and Only Larry Crandell
Come join Nonprofit Support Center for book signing of Steven Crandell’s “Silver Tongue: Secrets of Mr. Santa Barbara.” Both Steven and his dad, Larry Crandell, the book’s subject and inspiration, are present. Books are available for purchase, with 55% of profits benefiting the NSC Sharon Kayser Scholarship Fund.

Bake and Rummage Sale
To better help our nation’s heroes, The Lehner Foundation, an organization that works with soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq and are dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, holds large-scale rummage and bake sale today and tomorrow. Proceeds will help open residential treatment center for war veterans.

Tecolote Book Signing
Local artist and author Patti Jacquemain is at Tecolote Bookshop to sign copies of her first children’s book, “Journey of the Great Bear.” The book follows a grizzly bear and his adventures in California.

Teddy Bear Tea
Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel hosts Teddy Bear Tea annual charity event, benefiting Cottage Hospital’s Neonatal Care Unit, as well as Council of Christmas Cheer. Guests may bring teddy bear to exchange for Beanie Baby. While Santa Claus and his elves entertain children, parents enjoy tea and pastries.

Caregiver Support Group
