Coast Village Farmers’ Market
Look for booths and market umbrellas and you’ll be there among fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers

Serafina, children and babies boutique, hosts storybook time for toddlers and young children. Children are treated to interactive reading of old and new classics, including books by Dr. Seuss, Maurice Sendak, Erik Carle, Beatrix Potter, Chihiro Iwasaki, Mary Hoffman and Mo Williams. Milk and cookies are served.

Live at Tsunami
Coast Village restaurant Tsunami, one of Montecito’s few hubs for live music, hosts evening of moxie-sing jazz and standards from Great American Songbook.

Westmont Reynolds Gallery
Now through December 15, Westmont displays custom-made teapots, cups and other unique ceramic works from eighteen national and international artists. Local artist Christopher Rupp has spent eight months organizing and compiling this collection.

The Truth About Muhammad
Join the Santa Barbara Wednesday Morning Club in welcoming author Robert Spencer to Santa Barbara. The New York Times bestselling author reveals The Truth About Muhammad in a reception and book signing. Wednesday Morning Club executive director David Horowitz is guest speaker.

The Music Academy of the West invites public for a night of talent and entertainment, as Cleveland Orchestra concertmaster William Preucil, Cincinnati Symphony cellist Eric Kim, and Canadian pianist Arthur Rowe dazzle with a chamber music recital. Presented in conjunction with the Academy’s Advanced Strings Workshop, the musicians perform pieces by Brahms, R. Strauss, and Mendelssohn.

Westmont ‘Car Plays’
Westmont pushes theatrical boundaries with ‘Car Play’, a series of plays that take place in different vehicles. 40 Westmont students perform 16 original plays simultaneously inside 16 parked vehicles. Each play is less than 12 minutes and the entire show will only last two hours.

One and Only Larry Crandell
Come join the Nonprofit Support Center for a book signing of Steven Crandell’s Silver Tongue- Secrets of Mr. Santa Barbara: A Life of Larry Crandell. Both Steven and Larry Crandell are present. Books are available for purchase, with 55% of profits benefiting the NSC Sharon Kayser Scholarship Fund.

Violin and Cello Public Masterclasses
William Preucil and Eric Kim, performers in November 28’s Chamber Music Recital at the Music Academy of the West, hold free public masterclasses. Preucil instructs the violin masterclass, and Kim instructs the cello masterclass.
