Ghost Village Road
For another year, ghosts and ghouls roam the haunted sidewalks of Coast Village Road. Stores participating in the event hand out candy for all those in costume. The staff at the gelateria and deli, Here’s the Scoop, has prepared a pirate-themed haunted house.

Keep It Beautiful
Montecito Association Beautification committee invites you, your family and friends to come celebrate Beautification Day at the Upper Village Green. Festivities start at 9 am with a continental breakfast provided by the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel. Once you are done with breakfast, it’s off to pick up trash on one of Montecito’s many lanes, streets, trails or beaches. A tee shirt and a bottle of water will be given to all participants before they are assigned a cleanup route.
At 11 am, everyone gathers at the Village Green for the awards presentation recognizing those who, in their own way, keep Montecito beautiful. Then it’s time for some Five Alarm Chili and hot dogs prepared by the Montecito Fire District. Fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies and gelato from Here’s the Scoop will be served.
