Look for booths and market umbrellas and you’ll be there among fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers

Serafina, children and babies boutique, hosts storybook time for toddlers and young children. Children are treated to interactive reading of old and new classics, including books by Dr. Seuss, Maurice Sendak, Erik Carle, Beatrix Potter, Chihiro Iwasaki, Mary Hoffman and Mo Williams. LIT MOON WORLD SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
Santa Barbara hosts first international Shakespeare festival in the nation. Festival uses six Santa Barbara venues to showcase work of seven theater companies representing five countries. Of the 26 performances, three works are world premieres: “As You Like It,” by the State Puppet Theatre from Bourgas, Bulgaria; “Timon of Athens,” by Theatre Artists Group/Theatre UCSB; and “The Tempest,” by Lit Moon Theatre Company. John Blondell, Westmont College theater arts professor and artistic director for Lit Moon Theatre Company, directs three plays, including two Westmont co-productions, “Hamlet” and “King Richard II.” For more info visit www.litmoon.com

Caregiver Support Group
Join the Friendship Center for class about dementia, “What Now? What to expect during the dementia journey.” This class is taught in Spanish. Also, caregiver education and support group facilitated by Sharon Campbell, RN. Caregivers of individuals of Alzheimer’s Disease or other forms of dementia are invited to share laughter and tears. Free respite care available during group.
