Music at Lotusland
Grammy nominee Tierney Sutton, along with her band, jazzes up the audience at Lotusland. Yes that’s right, Montecito’s 37-acre garden plays host to day of music with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served after the performance. All proceeds benefit Lotusland. Only shame is that the performance isn’t at night, when the lotuses bloom.

Some Nerve
Jane Heller, The New York Times bestselling author and now Montecito resident, presents and signs copies of her new book, “Some Nerve,” at Cottage Hospital. The romantic comedy follows a heroine during her time working as a volunteer in a patient library, which makes the Cottage Hospital setting – where Heller volunteers – all the more appropriate. Fifteen percent of the proceeds are donated directly to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
